Hello dears,
we are Catalina and Andrei,
Husband and wife and two cats.
The photography got us together since we were teenagers, and we became best friends. Little did we know that we will become a family one day. And here we are almost 10 years after, doing everything in tandem. A little about us, we are wine lovers, cat parents, F1 fans. We enjoy the late night driving or the philosophic conversations on a terrace about life with a glass of wine. We basically don’t like to waste any second of our lives. You have together the “Mother” of any groups and the dad’s joke guy. We would love to meet you!
About Tandem Weddings: we love capturing the essence of love. simply documenting moments. Out of the busy lives, we want exactly that moments that you will spend together with us, to be different. To feel it even after 10 years.
During the wedding, we capture candid moments from a natural perspective. But when it's time for the photoshoot, we bring our artistic touch. We find the perfect lighting, beautiful settings, and create an atmosphere that showcases your unique personalities. Our goal is to give you one-of-a-kind images that reflect your love and individuality. We want your wedding photos to be as special as you are, not like anyone else's.
It's not just about capturing smiles for the camera, it's about immortalising genuine joy, moments and emotions.
If you opened this page, it probably means you’re curious about how we actually see weddings, and before anything else, this is where we say it clearly. Not in a polished way, not in a way that tries to “convince” you, just as it is for us. We don’t follow the usual way of doing things, and that’s not something we decided overnight, it’s something that came naturally after being part of so many days that felt real, and so many that didn’t.
We don’t come with a fixed idea of how your wedding should look, because the moment we do that, we stop seeing you. Instead, we listen, we observe, we pay attention to what matters without asking you to explain everything. We notice how you move, how your people are around you, what feels natural and what doesn’t, and from there, everything we do follows that. Not in front of you, not directing you, just moving with you.
You won’t feel like you’re being photographed all day. There’s no constant interruption, no pressure to perform, no list that needs to be completed. You’re not stepping out of your own day to create something for the camera. You’re just living it, as it is, and we stay close enough to feel it with you, but never in a way that changes it.
Most of the time, we blend in. We dress like your guests, we respect your space, your people, your rhythm. We don’t turn your wedding into a production. We don’t take over moments that already belong to you. And slowly, without you even realising it, you stop noticing us. That’s when everything becomes honest.
We believe that what’s real will always matter more than what’s perfect. The small things, the ones that don’t look important in the moment, the ones that would never make it to a Pinterest board, those are the ones that stay. A look, a pause, a hand that holds a little tighter. Things you don’t plan, and can’t repeat.
We don’t try to create moments. We stay for them. We let them happen, exactly as they are, even if they’re imperfect, even if they’re quiet, even if they’re gone in seconds. Because later, when everything is over, those are the things that bring you back, not just to how it looked, but to how it actually felt.
